Ozzie and Harriet -- Meet the Nelsons.  Dick Van Dyke was funny.  Morey Amsterdam was always cutting up about something.  Some people out there might remember Sid Caesar's Show of Shows.

Sometimes they show it in reruns.  Those were the days when everything was done live.

When I was a kid, after school the local television stations used to have re-runs of the Munsters, Leave it to Beaver, Lost in Space and in the evenings, they used to play Perry Mason, the Twilight Zone and Dragnet.  However, on Saturday afternoons WUAB-43 Cleaveland played old BW episodes of Godzilla from Japan and old BW Kung-fu movies.  Those were great times!    But my all-time favorite has to be "Our Gang" with Spanky, Alfalfa, Buckwheat, Froggie and the rest.

I enjoyed bewitched and the Rifleman.  In fact, they still run rifleman on one of the cable channels currently.

That happens a lot!  It took a lot for me to remember the reruns of HowdyDoody!  Then there's Happy the Clown!

How about I Love Lucy with Lucille Ball and Desi Arnez? I used to love that show, though it was always difficult to watch Lucy get herself into such painful binds.  How about Green Acres?  And who could forget Batman with the POW and BAMs!  There were a lot of great b/w shows!

Yes they might be painful today, but there was a lot that she did without thinking about the end.  Like the time when she glued a beard on herself and the stuff that she used was so strong that the beard wouldn't come off!  This was during the time when he brought someone home for drinks!  It's like the Andy Griffith Show where people used to laugh at the show's drunk who was always in jail.  We used to laugh at things like that back then.

Anyone remember Gunsmoke?

Lucille Ball and Dick Van Dyke were two of the best physical comedians ever.  I do remember Gunsmoke, excellent Western show!

I loved Bonanza...until they put it in color.  Whoa, was there a difference!  The mismatched colors were just a little too much to bear!

Anyone remember the old show the rifleman, where the show starts with the character having his military insignia ripped off him and his sword broken as he walks out of the old western fort?  I can for the life of me not remember what he did to deserve that.  Does anyone remember?

Yeah, I remember that episode but don't remember what he did either.  Maybe something about his wife being killed and him killing the responsible parties?
