Many government job seekers focus on searching for federal jobs first because a better benefits and what some consider more interesting job duties? Yet the number of state and local government jobs are expected to increase much faster than federal jobs over the next 10 years. Which type are you looking for? Why?

Anyone who is wondering whether they want to go into Federal, State, or Local government should go on the internet and do a Google Search for the U.S. Constitution and spend some time reading it.   It spells out what powers are separated between the Federal and the State governments.    If you decide you're interested in working in a field that is state related, download the state's constitution of the state you want to work in and read that, then decide if it's what you want to do.   If you don't like what you read in your state's constituion, decide on some other state you might want to live in and read that state's constition, then decide.

I am urgently seeking a government job. It was made clear to me that a government job have higher salaries than state government jobs. Plus not to mention the increasing number of job applicant leaving state government to go with the federal government.
