This is memorabilia indeed! It makes one wonder what would have happened had he lived. Nice collector's item.

I remember this election as it was my first to work on a campaign. Martin Luther King, Jr., was slain in Memphis, TN, in April. We had so much hope for another administration similiar to his brother's, in John F. Kennedy. Many of us strongly believe, that we would not have had the riots in Chicago, had Bobby not been killed prior to the Convention.

I applaud his efforts against organized crime and I was thrilled to have him running for President at a time when I hated being back in this country after spending from 1962 to 1966 on Okinawa. I came back to riots and a nation in turmoil from a peaceful little island in the Pacific.

I968 I was only one year old during this campany. I only heard about the riots in Detroit in 1967. Our country has been through some heartbreaking events. This Family will always emulate dignity. President John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, John Kennedy Jr. Senator Edward Kennedy may you all have a peaceful and joyous reunion in Heaven!
It is more than a collectors item it stirs up emotions of the era and reminds us of possiblities.
