Please Bill, take a break and give us a moment. Boo Vista! "If it's not broken, don't fix it!" XP is not far off Windows 2000, so the change was manageable...but Vista? C'mon.

I haven't had any problems except with the media center being able to access certain programs such as a version of Roxio 9,

In my personal opinion I enjoy Xp for the OS. Ease of operation and straightforward applications made it easy to learn and navigate. Without having to change most of my software or having to relearn not only the OS but applications that require more Ram for function.

By far the most dependable Microsoft Operating System to date (Win7 jury is still out).
I used it from the first release date and still have it on 2 computers on my home network. It will be good to use for a very long time, even after Microsoft stops supporting it with security fixes, service patches and updates.

While xp was fine in its time, technology has passed it by. Businesses that refuse to stay current limit themselves and the productivity of their employees. Windows 7, MS Office 2010 and Windows Phone 7 will make the life of every professional much more easy.
