| Description: | The iPod classic features an updated design on the digital media player you already know and love. Some of the new bits include a sleek all-metal enclosure, a massive increase in storage space, a thinner body, and a brand-new user interface featuring Cover Flow. Cover Flow allows you to easily browse through your music collection by flipping through each album's cover art using the Click Wheel. When you find the album you want, you can flip it over for the track listing. Just like you'd do with a real CD or vinyl. |

This iPod provides storage for a wide variety of multimedia files. Apparently, there is a downside that it doesn't work with some older versions of Windows, so make sure you check out the specs on the product beforehand.

Great product, but the price is way out of line. My son has one, and I was surprised how much he paid for it.

If the price goes down, this is a definite purchase for me. It is a great IPOD!

Before my company gave me one of these, I wouldn't have walked 2 feet out of my way to get one for fee. Since getting my first one, I've grown to rely on it for keeping me up to date on my few television shows that I like. As well as keeping every CD that I own in the palm of my hand. Lest, anyone think that I only like it because it was free, NO. I've since purchased 2 iPod Touche's. An 8 gigabyte and a 16 gigabyte, they're both worth every penny.

This is a device that has push our level of technology and communication to a whole new direction. WOrd / music/ picture being store on a device we desire as consumers to have as a gadget or device to listen to entertainment. It meshes with our daily lives. Music has been a part of our society for decades now. The Ipod intertwines the ability to have that music quickly at our hands. Having the super large capasity to have a entire libirary of music or books on a Ipod changes the ability to communicate or entertain oursleves. We see it everyday, in stores, in cares, just about everywere we look we see people with ipods and earphones tucked away in to one of two ears. THe battery life is substancia; to last through most hours of activity. But as a consumer we al would most likly agree having battery life be longer and have the ipod servicable to beable to keep our ipods for longer lives. Apple put the engineering in to making the ipods durable for consumers, it can only improve in battery life and servicability. We all know in the future the technology will get smaller and increase in capasity. The apple Ipod, is the magic fruit from the tree of technological inovation.
