Government Scandal Wrap-Up Summer 2009

Mike Duvall, CA Assemblyman, was boasting to a fellow legislator of his sexual exploits with a state lobbyist. That’s crass, but doing it in a committee room, where the whole conversation was videotaped. Now that’s stupid. While the family-values crusader from Orange County may have had a problem practicing what he preached. In a very unpolitical move, he copped to the charge and and resigned from his position within 24 hours of the scandal being revealed.
