Hi Deborah! Yes the chance of weather turning keeps us on our knees and feet... I have had a lucky streak here in NorCal... check out the new photo album with my cleanup and clear out of the winters damage... My Iris' made it through the Ides of March and being long stemmed they sure look regal... My star jasmine is blooming the honey suckle is budding and perhaps if the weather holds the gardenias will fully bloom... I do need 70' plus temps for all of this to occur and I hope for the best to both of US... your friend, Michael

I can understand doing what you have to do and take care of here,,, basically I quit school anbd looking real hard for any kind of job now... too many bills piling up if you are by yourself... take care and hope we can talk/chat soon miss them

Hello my green thumbed gardening 'friend'... me too - also with my hands in the soil, replanting aloe vera and catcus and jade plants that got hammered by the frosts and freezes... my barrell of lilacs have stemed and I am awaiting the blossoms... same for the field lillies... the honey suckle is crowning and I am hopeful for its blooming... my jasmyn, (after our last daughter), has mountains of pink pods just waiting to bloom into the sweetest white flowers... yes life in the garden is good and hopefully worthy of a visit from our Heavenly Farther... I hope your turf is just as happy that the winter cold is past and spring is here... your 'friend', Michael.

What do you like to plant in your garden? Had one when I lived in NJ. Liked the mums, tulips, and all of the other plants and others that were there. Tried carnations, but it seemed not to work as much. Tried daisies, and they grew up like crazy. Some of the seeds even were blown onto the lawn, so there were daisies everywhere! Have a great day!
