Dear Deb, studying online is a piece of cake so far. The most difficult part is reading the textbook for the Psychology for Personal Effectiveness and trying to retain what I've just read! I have kind of made up my mind about majoring in Information Technology - perhaps as a Network Administrator - something that can apply to Medical Technology as well because there is great growth in the medical technology field. I know that this IT course would require a lot of Maths but I'm going to do it even if it kills me! :-) So, I'm just going to minor in something easy like Spanish which I know a lot already and for which I don't have to study too hard. My last job was in supporting the Finance Director and Department and I did a lot of book-keeping and accounting duties, so I don't really see myself getting stuck studying for a degree in accounting. But then again, you never know, I may just turn around and decide to go and get certified in Finance instead of IT.

Great to hear from you...I am as well as this winter will let me be...sniffles and aches etc...I still do the gym and sauna...still post online, and still fish for the opportunities that will release me from my funk...I found myself joining another site GotPoetry.com...This move has taken me away from my regular things I do...Change is Growth? do you suppose? So Deborah, did you know that you have the same profile picture as JSorling? I sent Jane a message meant for you the other day and she kindly told me so. Then I asked her why don't you put up a picture of yourself because it would be nice to know who I'm talking to. You have a picture of yourself in your album which is a very nice picture. Congratulations are in order for your upcoming AA graduation, I see. I am undecided as yet - divided between a degree in Information Technology or in Languages. At first, my thought was if I chose Languages, maybe I could major in Arabic and minor in Spanish. But now I'm thinking that I should combine both and major in IT and minor in Spanish. But I've got plenty of time to think about this as I'm only at the stage of getting an Associates in Arts.

Deborah, you went back to school too? What are you studying? Maths - yucks! Next semester I'm supposed to take the required college Maths classes. Today I started on two online courses - computers and psychology. Should be fun! I love both.

Hi Deborah! Yes we had a peaceful and quiet celebration, all around is well and for now we are thankful that 2009 is gone...Hopefully the coming year will be the beginning of the turn-around for humanity and that all things good and human will prevale of the darkness that has been the norm for the last decade...
