KSAs stand for "Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities." Most government jobs would require you to answer questions based of KSAs of a particular position. Those KSAs are then scanned and you are given a certain amount of points based on your KSAs. In order for your resume to even be seen by a recruiting officer/specialist, you would have to made a minimum score [lets say 80]. It filters good applicants from not so good applicants. Get it?
