About Me
At 2.56 pm on Tuesday 30th June 2009 I took the Oath of Allegiance and became a US citizen!! I have spent the majority of my working life with the British Ministry of Defense, as a Weapons Technician in the Royal Air Force (12 years) and as a Ministry of Defense Police Officer(11 years). In the Air Force I was stationed at RAF Benson, Oxfordshire in 1971 where I worked in the Station Armory. Got posted to 17 Squadron (Phantoms) at RAF Bruggen, Germany in 1974 thru 1976. Did stints at RAF Stafford and RAF Marham between 1977/83. Came out of the RAF in 1983 and worked at A&AEE Boscombe Down for 2 years in the Ejection Seat Bay. Then in Feb 1986 joined the Ministry of Defence Police (RAF Chilmark 1986-94, AAC Netheravon 1994-97). Came to the US in September 2001, married to a South Carolinian and living in the Upstate. I am now looking forward to coming out of retirement and making a difference by helping the security of my new country. God Bless America.
