Well Deb : first have you tried your local city, county, state or nearby cities counties government agencies to see what they have available on Job postings. There is also at your local umemployment office a veteran respresentative that helps you with fining a jobs. I do know that here in Nevada and I do believe that Veterans have priority. There are a wide variety of govt web sites that can help you also find. I do know of one job site in is called,, usgovernmentfederaljobs.com that will let you set parametrs for just the state that you are seeking work for. There is also usagovjob.com. I really just the best thing to do is just .. google for listing of websites for sites to help find govt / fed sites. I would go back into looking again, but I am getting too old to find a govt / fed job like this. I do know that they are really pushing hard to help the vets of Iraq and Afghanistan, which is what it should be.
