There is a lot to know, but it is very rewarding. If you like people and feel that you can do this kind of a job, then it's worth trying. Being an EMT is also great. The biggest obstacle to overcome is to be able to take the vent that people often do. You just have to remember that they are just frustrated, especially if they are taken back right away.

Very busy. Even though there were others to help, when it came to people going to lunch, that's when the busyness really started! There were times we were really running! Literally!

It was very confusing at times. Over 20 rooms and 7 doctors in the morning and as many if not more in the afternoon! Thankfully, it wasn't always that way!

It was nice helping people out, but very stressful! If you can multi-task, you can do anything there! Before I left NJ, was working for a cardiology office with several doctors. Talk about stress! Can you be in more than one place at the same time?
