I hope things turn around and your are able to get into the Sheriff's Office. It seems that we don't have much of choice but to go back to school. The positions I have been looking at want the four year degree and I am not ready to owe that much money to go for another two years. I am hoping that we my experience and schooling it would be enough. I am getting phone calls to further the education, but I tell them, where's the job to pay for the first two years?

I was looking to get into the Census Bureau but they seem to only hire as a need basis, nothing permanent. I worked there in the last census as a crew leader and really enjoye it. I also applied in the Social Security Administration as a debt collector but I only scored 83, that was the only position availabe. They put my name on the list if they need more people. The problem is that I only have an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and alot of places want a Bachelor's. I just earned the associates and not ready to go for the bachelors. For the internet jobs I am looking other than the government in the field of customer service or management. I have been getting offers from insurance companies to sell life insurance but I do not have the personality for it. Got offered a job in Comcast, a cable company but it was atleast an hour drive and not up to it.

You did more than me. Went to a job that had my resume, emailed me to come in and apply for the job and after I applied they said they would give it to the HR department, I guess they will do the background check to see if I am worthy of a job interview.

Not a problem George. I am glad to help anyway I can. I completely believe in transparency. No hidden fees. No extra charges. That is what sold me on this company. And being that this is a legal field dealing with attorneys and such, it is an absolute priority to not deceive anyone. It is not a good idea to do that anyways, but would it make sense to deceive someone and then that person has access to the size Law Firm that we have? That would be insane my friend! I'll leave the insane work for the insane asylum on Capitol Hill.
