    Sound like you've been all over the place, lucky! I have traveled to Germany, Austria, Italy, Puerto Rico, Switzerland, and everywhere around the southeast of the US. I was born and have lived here in Aiken,SC all my life. I like it though. I pretty much live n Auburn, Ala most of the college football season. I'm sure if you are in Ala, you've been asked are you an Auburn or Alabama fan, ha ha ha ha ha

    Thank you Maile. I love Colorado. I want to stay. But we shall see how things pan out. It seems I may be teaching science to high school students while getting my second Masters, now, just because it has been a rough go with everything. But also because I love to teach kids about the outdoors. And I am good at it- and giving to the greater good by doing so.

    Thank you for the kind words. I truly enjoy your posts as well and have really enjoyed this site. I am excited to watch it grow. I try to bring sound reasoning to the table when I post (I don't like one liners too much as you can probably tell). I figure if I can't contribute in a constructive way I will simply keep my fingers tied. :)

    Hi Maile, Thank you for your kind words. You took some gorgeous photos! Don't you just love the Smithsonian? The one pic of your dog with his mouth open wide is so funny. It's great when you can take photos that are so candid. Looks like we have a lot in common. That Dexter show is one of my favorites too. (I keep thinking about the Barbie in the frig -crazy, huh? Makes you wonder how the writers come up with stuff like that!) Hope you have a great week and thanks again.

    Close to Toronto and Montreal (a positive to being in Flint for now), I guess that's something to consider. I've been to Toronto for a day-conference, but basically stayed in a building so didn't get to see much. One of my girlfriends lived in Montreal and loved it so... I wouldn't mind visiting there. And you're right, snow in the winter or a white Christmas is always exhilarating! Love the snow, but not freezing temperatures so... works out for me since when it snows... it's not as cold:-). How're you liking Alabama?
