I don't think I have learned nor experienced peace yet, but I am headed in that direction. Our new pastor stopped by this evening for a little chat with Allie. He told me that God has a man for me, but it is not this season...darn. He says that he will have around the same IQ that I have, there will be this intimacy, he will take care of me...sigh. All I am praying for is that God sends him within the next 5 years. If I don't have a husband for me and a step-father for Allie when she hits 13...I will probably be institutionalized. She is a true redhead to the core. I don't know if you noticed that I changed my avatar to a picture of her. She was 6 in this picture.

Good morning, Donna and to all who dwell here. :) I would say TGIF, but it was the first week of school and my daughter is home today with her first cold of the season. I was a Medical Assistant for 10 years, so when she started complaining of a sore throat yesterday, I panicked "Swine Flu", until I took her temp and she didn't have a fever. Today, she is completely congested and still with the sore throat. And I am afraid to say that my panic was in vain. I had her in the ER last week for GI stuff and the nurse told me that her sister had the swine flu. I thought she was talking last spring and she said, "No, this was 2 weeks ago and in Corpus Christi". Wash, Wash, Wash your hands!!! The vaccine is due out until mid-October and with having to have a 2nd vaccination, you won't have full immunity until Thanksgiving.
