About Me
Daughter returning to school!! Yeah! Time for me to find a job! Not a great time, huh? I just can't get back the motivation I had to be in Clinical Research after having to put it on hold for 2 years AND it is one of those catch-22 jobs; all want experience, but no one will hire you! The first year, all wanted over 2 years. Last year, it dropped to 1-2 years, with some only wanting 1. Now with this recession, all the experienced people are being laid-off and taking any position I would have a chance of getting and now they are asking for 3-5 years of experience. You can see how hard it is to get motivated. A new friend suggested with my science background that I should look into a career fighting bio-terrorism, but none of the stupid search agents are pulling anything up, expect to be a "fish biologist" in AK. Anyone with anything that could help me, please feel free to leave a comment or send a PM. God bless the USA!

    I just read the job description that they emailed me, not the one on the website...oh my! Some of this equipment I haven't used since Organic Chemistry in the early 90s! I hope I can find a quick online refresher course on some of this stuff tomorrow. It will be a busy day! Check your email, Donna!

    You are right, George. I am still learning how to navigate this place...lol! This is only my 2nd serious interview since Feb. when I started hunting. My mom, who has been an RN for 35 years, 30 in labor and delivery, has been unemployed since May (some recession proof job, eh...people are still having babies from what I know). Praise God, she starts a job on Monday. But with the 5 loaves and 2 fish God has provided, we have been able to stay afloat! God bless everyone here still looking. I think I might sneak over to the prayer room right now!

    Jill you commented on jane but it came to my comment wall you might want to send it to her it might make her feal better, I know what you mean everywhere it is rough now. I have been out of work since Jan of last year and still looking had a couple of interviews but the older you get the rougher it gets.
