  Patty, ok, first let me tell you something i do not have a college degree either, I went to trade / technical school. I was then in the United States Army for 4 years..never should have left,, .. KICKING MYSELF IN THE A** .. for a long time, but oh well. I was wondering if you can tell me what newspaers there are that list jobs that are available,, at times at leat with me pushing almost 50.. getting a goverment job is going to be very hard , unless it is may administrative. I would believe with you living there in Maryland DC, you would have better luck, I hope that you can check into your local county, state, city , or any other cities that is close to you. There is many job sites you can look at ,, just .. Google and type government jobs sites..I hope this helps youI have used careerbuilder to look for jobs in other state / cities, but the newspapers, can give you a really better idea and you can look at thier classified adds if they posted them

  Wow, Severen Maryland, I have been thinking about moving to the east, I have been wondering what the job market actually is there from someone that can tell me. I do not believe the news at times and well the,, Careerbuilder .. website, is somewhat helpful. I have some questions for you, but you tell me when is a good time to ask ? Have a great week,

  Patty, ok first making friends is easy, so many ways to find and make friends.

  The first is were you retrieve your messages from, you will see on the right side , a column, to were you can see eith the Editor, Henry or myself make friends. If you see this, click on that persons name it will take you to their page, Then when you are on their page underneath their profile picture, you will see some options, like , do you want to make friends with .. such a name.. . Then it will take you to another page, there you can just send the invite or where it says you can add a message, click on the end of that.. backspace,, then type in what you want to say. There is also you can find any made friends on the leadeboard page, which is an option on the page where you also retieve your messages from. This option is on the top of the page.. it says .. "Leaderboard ' , there it shows on the right who has accumlated points for that days or days before. click on any of those and just do the same thing with inviting a someone to be your friends. There is also on the same page, where you will find on the left people with their pictures, just click on their picture, takes you to their page, and just do the same thing. There is also when and were you can find the time to do is write something on your profile, like the city, state where you live, what you are looking for etc.

  It is just like I said there is a lot to do here and lots to learn and well,, the job sites to look at are.. Jobs.com,.. are you looking for a goverment job, .. sorry stupid question. There is a site here you can look at, groups you can join and see what they are writing about or suggestions.

  Well Hello Patty, enjoy the weekend,, we first and I am pretty sure that you have done already is checked your local, county, city, state, government jobs listing sites right ? There are many sites online that you can look into,, here, it really helps to make friends as many as you can, That way you can help one another. with ideas, suggestions etc.
  If I can ask, where do you live at ?.
  I know the retail , is not a consistent paycheck every week it is a different amount
