We have two dogs actually. Right now the youngest one, Esther, now 4 is a Peke/ Pug mix. She's also in that stage where she wants to become the alpha dog. Then there is Faith. She's a Sheltie and is 7. She knows that she's the alpha dog, but has to convince Esther that she is. They were fine for a whole year, but now they start having their fights now and then. We had a dog, Brielle, who had to put down when she was 13 because of the cancer in her body. She was the sweetest dog we had. She was part Bichon Frise and part Schnauzer! She looked like a curly haired Westie when her hair got long. She never shed like the others, so we ended up grooming her ourselves.

How did the poison enter you or your household? Since Dan just started his job the end of June, I don't know what we'll be doing as yet. His boss is on vacation, so he may be on call. Dan works as an assistant facility maintenance technician over an apartment complex.
