There are places that many places that will allow pets even hotels. You just have to keep them in their crates.

Not really. They say that the worst to come here and do major damage was Hugo. I'm more concerned about where to go with the animals. They had a shelter last year, but that may have been in the path of the hurricane. Last year's was pretty bad, but we all got through it with God's help!

Thanks for the life saver! It's not so bad here, but where the Bible study is located, it has to be canceled because no one can drive there. If we lived downtown then the place gets really flooded!

We don't leave that side. God makes sure the water doesn't come into our place. It seems that the other side is lower than the side we are on. The drain is also on our side, but up near the main entrance. No drain on the other side.

The apartments that we live in tends to really flood on heavy rains. When we walk the dogs, we find a small lake on one side. On the other, where we live, it's not so bad.
