You said that we are so far away. Not so far away that we can't talk or write! Or even visit for that matter! Once my husband has his job, I might consider going out there. My sister, now deceased, used to live in CA before she became a nun.

I'll keep that in mind. I love the mountains and actually miss seeing the snow, although not the shoveling part. It does snow flurry once in a while, and when it does, it is an awesome sight!

California really sounds like a very nice place to live. I like the outdoors, too. I guess that's why I enjoyed visiting Gettysburg a lot. You got a chance to go roaming all around in the park and not a building anywhere! There were even campgrouonds there and the food was excellent.

Besides what's in the news, I've heard a lot of good things about California. I appreciate the dry heat. It's cooler today with some breeze, but you can still feel the humidity.
