That would be fantastic! The one thing I do recall at the Grand Canyon is waking up early in the morning and smelling the Ponderosa Pines! Beautiful scent. I don't even think that you could even botttle it! Fantastic! And so quiet then!

As long as the ground isn't too hard, not a bad idea! Tried camping with my ex at Grand Canyon! You might as well have brought some kind of drill or something so get those tent pegs firmly in the ground. Did it, though! It really was an experience there!

That was a long time ago and one of the reasons that I left to live with my step-mother and my dad. There may be no excuse, but when low self-esteem comes into play, all the other things that happened to them as a kid pops up whenever and they don't really know it until someone points it out! After that, it's their choice if they want to improve their lives. Still, I can understand what you mean. My dad always cursed. I never have to this day. Still don't like it.

Sometimes it really isn't the man himself, but was the victim of what his father did to him or even the liquor that they sometimes drink that only makes it worse. Many men think that they need to be in complete control, and if you don't agree, watch out! My mother's boyfriend touched me where he shouldn't and it wasn't long after that, a few weeks later, that he was gone! It was awful and I was so ashamed!

Yes, we do have to pray for her. We have to come against those demons of her past and have the Lord lift her so that she can see herself the way that He sees her. Understand depression. Not good!
