I am a disabled vet with a BS in Human Services and Completing my MAM with a specialization in Human Resouce Management, with with just a one year experience with the Phoenix VA hospital Human Resource Department; unfortunately most employers are asking for a three or more years experience. Where can I go to get an experience if nobody is willing to hire me and give me the chance to learn and grow in experience?

Hi svcmgt: What are the secrets to getting your foot in the door of HR? I am a recent graduate earning my Masters in HR Administration and my agency has basically told me I won't be going into HR which is the reason why I relocated. I feel they have blocked me from progressing in my career and am looking at other agencies to work for in HR. Do you have any advice to give?
