Job Description
The Federal Government’s essential duties include defending the United States from foreign aggression and terrorism, representing U.S. interests abroad, enforcing laws and regulations, and administering domestic programs and agencies. They also play a role in everything from weather forecasts, fresh groceries, highway and air travel, to even the workings at your bank.
