There are jobs advertised and applied for, but who is getting hired? Has anyone seen data on who is actually getting jobs? What kind of trend is there in what hiring activity is going on in this country?

I'm surprised that we may see 288,000 manufacturing job. Are we saying that they will be in the great USA. I'm a Jouneyman Tool and Die maker by trade and I never thought in my life time that so much of our "Made in the USA" products would all go to China and Mexico. I can not even find a job around here anymore in manufacturing, everyone is down sizing or it is already gone out of the country. Shame on all the greedy CEO and Company owners for wanting to make more and more money, by paying for cheap labor and poor quality work from foreign countries. We need this work back in the USA and buy only USA products, to support our Great Freedom friendly country.

My question is the following: What is happening with the baby boomers? As the economy stands today it is very difficult to survive on social security and pensions. However, age becomes a factor to secure a job. What is there to do for this group?

Where are the jobs for environmental testing laboratories.
I believe that salary caps are a good idea vut I believe that noone needs to make over $200,000 but everyone needs to make at least $35,000. This could save a lot of money .

We will just have to wait and see what happens, we all know that applying for a Federal Job seems to take forever, or you never hear any response. Will just wait and see, hope that it helps pick up the economy, god knows that we really need it.
