Searching for State and Local Jobs

The best ways to specify the State or locality you wish to find a job in is to use the “Search by Keywords” or “Search by Zip Code” option. If you happen to know the municipality or department where you want to search, just type it’s full name in quotes (“City of San Francisco”, “County of Merrimack”, etc.)

You can combine this with salary information, or multiple job categories, to further refine your search.
