Federal Job Fairs

For the most up-to-date information about government job fairs, check out GovCentral’s Government Job Fair calendar.
Attending job fairs is a terrific way to meet potential employers, practice your interviewing skills, and gain an appreciation for what skills and work experience are valued by each department. Furthermore, representatives you will meet at job fairs will give you personalized feedback on your resume, and will critique your previous work experience. There are plenty of changes to make a strong impression and to get the attention of the employer you want to work for. Most job fairs will be entirely free, and although they can be somewhat time consuming, they are definitely worth attending.
Many job fairs and career expos also offer seminars on topics such as “Finding a Federal Job” and “How to Excel at a Job Fair”; attend these to ensure that you’re getting the most out of your job search.
This guide breaks down 2009’s job fairs by government department. If you aren’t sure about what department you want to work for, it might make sense to attend job fairs which host several departments at once.
Mark your calendar, and be sure to attend one of the fairs you find:

I have been in search of a job relating to the I/T field and I haven't been getting any interviews. I have several years of experience in computer operations and network monitoring. I'm located in the Hollywood, Fl. area. Please someone in the Miami, Fort Lauderdale area please send me information to this email address if you have any job openings now or in the near future.

I for one would like to know IF there are ANY worthwhile participants at these Job Fairs. Every one of those that are coming up (here in Texas) are loaded with retail, colleges, insurance companies, BUT 1 to none of actual companies that have jobs for people wanting to support their families. NOT one here is going to have any sort of Federal representation.

Good ...
I am also looking for work. I was working for AMWTP in Idaho Falls,ID. I had to come back to Las Vegas, NV due to the death of my Father-in-law. My wife is an only child and she was in charge of the whole funeral thing. Kinda overwhelming for just one person. I have been working odd end jobs just to keep food on the table and a roof over our head. I am now looking for a job. I can send you my resume and you can let me know. I need to start ASAP, just like the rest of us...
I hope to hear from somebody soon.
Thank you.

I have not seen any listings for Ohio either. Does anybody have any leads for work in Ohio referencing Supervisory positions for construction, public works or any maintenance related area's.

http://www.nationalcareerfairs.com/career_fairs/ I took a look at this site and it does list the job fairs that are coming up all over the country. It is very easy to use, you can sort out the information by the area you are in. I registered with it to see a list of the employers that are coming but I just did it a few minutes ago so I don't know what other stuff they will be sending to my email address

This article's title is deceptive. It doesn't give any federal job fair schedule or links. It's totally useless.

Here is the one in Irvine, CA. I can't remember exactly how I got to it but if you go to this link, you may be able to link again to a different city.

yes for a second time. Where are the fairs? will there be any set up in El Paso, Texas? I ask because of the tremendous growth here.
