Attending job fairs is a terrific way to meet potential employers, practice your interviewing skills, and gain an appreciation for what skills and work experience are valued by each department. Furthermore, representatives you will meet at job fairs will give you personalized feedback on your resume, and will critique your previous work experience. There are plenty of changes to make a strong impression and to get the attention of the employer you want to work for. Most job fairs will be entirely free, and although they can be somewhat time consuming, they are definitely worth attending.
Many job fairs and career expos also offer seminars on topics such as “Finding a Federal Job” and “How to Excel at a Job Fair”; attend these to ensure that you’re getting the most out of your job search.
This guide breaks down 2009’s job fairs by government department. If you aren’t sure about what department you want to work for, it might make sense to attend job fairs which host several departments at once.
Mark your calendar, and be sure to attend one of the fairs you find:

This article's title is deceptive. It doesn't give any federal job fair schedule or links. It's totally useless.

Here is the one in Irvine, CA. I can't remember exactly how I got to it but if you go to this link, you may be able to link again to a different city.

I concur, this article said nothing! Where is the listing of Federal Job Fairs? I have been to many Monster job fairs and they are pathetic. I recently went to one that I drove over an hour to get to only to find seven tables occupied. three were commission only insurance, two were commssion only stock broker, one was for termite inspector and the last was Avon! No government and no paying jobs.
