I applied for 6 positions through the Air Force; any position that closed before 9/30/08 was cancelled and reapplying for the new requisition is no gaurantee that those jobs won't meet the same fate! I am a disabled veteran so I cannot even work in the reserves to prove my mettle. I have a management degree and a background in Purchasing, Project, Process Improvement, Operations and IT Management. As such I have resumes for each position, which only complicates finding a job. I am getting really frustrated with the lack of accountability the government has placed on the banks with taxpayer dollars and fear they are just prolonging this downturn with apathy. I am applying to VA for IT, DMA for Supervisory Contract Specialist and the Border Patrol for IT. I am willing to work my way up. Somebody please help.

It seems that the Armed Services are seeking candidates left and right. With this in mind, you are asked to become a service person. Although there are some instances for Civilian personnel.
