The Best Entry Level Government Jobs

There is a lot of discussion about how government-sector jobs are more stable than others in our faltering economy and about how government hiring trends are predicted to be more resistant to the economic downturn than other sectors. Unfortunately, this doesn’t do you a whole lot of good, if you’ve got no idea of where to start in order to get hired.

I recently graduated with a BA in Marketing from a NJ University and having trouble getting my resume to the right people. I have applied to numerous companies through email and regular mail. I believe that I am a great canidate for many areas of work, however most resumes just get shoved into a pile somewhere no where to be found. I have approx 9 years retail experience with 2 years of that being managment. I am willing to work in any area to get my foot in the door and work my way up from there. If anyone is interested, my email is mwoollen86@yahoo.com - I will send my resume if there are job opeings that may be of interest.

I graduate in several months with my Bachelor's in communications. I love the idea of working in an environment where my hard work will be put to good use. I have experience in writing for the local media and I also have experience in broadcasting for radio and television. I am interested in any media-related government position and do not mind relocating. I do not graduate until this summer, but I like to look ahead. Any information or pointers, please contact me at twpashley@embarqmail.com.

They are telling all of us that they are hiring vets preferentially but I'm not seeing it in action anywhere. When they cut the F-22 they cost me my job. What else are these professional liars going to say next.

How disappointing that my field is not one of the entry level positions. I have a Master's and a Ph.D. but cannot find a job because I have very limited experience in the field. How can I get my foot in the door?

I recieved an MBA about a year ago from the University of Phoenix. However I am having the hardest time of networking to federal employers in an effort of obtaining an entry level position. I just want an opportunity of any kind so that I could one day establish a professional career.

I recently graduated from California Polytechnic State University in Business Administration with emphasis in Finance. I have 4 years of banking experience, and 10 years of customer service experience. I enjoy working with excel spreadsheets, financial modeling, forecasting, and working with numbers. My mother is a controller and mathematics seems to come natural in my bloodline. I'm looking to apply the theory I learned in school to real world situations. I just need the opportunity to utilize my talents.

For more information please contact me at justin.quon@yahoo.com. I'm interested in Accounting and Analyst work.

    Warm Regards,
