There is a lot of discussion about how government-sector jobs are more stable than others in our faltering economy and about how government hiring trends are predicted to be more resistant to the economic downturn than other sectors. Unfortunately, this doesn’t do you a whole lot of good, if you’ve got no idea of where to start in order to get hired.

My name is Thomas and I know a lot of people in the government that hold secret or higher. I am seeking a job with the federal government because it has made them stronger individuals and I would like to support my country in any way. I have a BA in psychology with 6 years crisis management skills and have coordinated personal for a day. I also have skills in the Microsoft office package as well as intranet and record keeping based on observations on as many as 5 patients at a time.
