There is a lot of discussion about how government-sector jobs are more stable than others in our faltering economy and about how government hiring trends are predicted to be more resistant to the economic downturn than other sectors. Unfortunately, this doesn’t do you a whole lot of good, if you’ve got no idea of where to start in order to get hired.

I have juris doctor degree from a foreign country and master of laws in comparative law degree from the U.S. I had practiced law for 8 years in private sector and 4 years at the government level as an administrator in another country. I am not planning to take bar exam in the U. S. I am highly motivated and enthusiastic person, especially in the work environment. I was known as a 'non-stop energy machine' for our office since I easily can inspire and encourage people to work up to their full potential. I am very interested having a goverment job. I know a bit from everything: Windows, Word, Excel, etc.I am multilingual and have been in the U.S. for ten years. What can I do with this kind of education, background, and experience in the U.S.?

Attention all, you must go to usajobs.gov to search for jobs as well as build your resume for federal employment. There is NO forwarding of credentials or contacting specific people unless it so states in the job announcement on usajobs.gov. I hope this helps.
