Great Information. I will use it to revamp my KSA's.

I was just contemplating KSAs for a job opening that I want to apply for and dreading the KSA requirement that appears to go with this application. I really liked this article and plan to print it in helping me design a form that will be good to accomplish this overwhelming task. However, I was disappointed that under the "Is there a form to completing a KSA?" (header) you suggested that you included a general form as a resource to use in this article and I do not find this attachment anywhere on this article as a link nor does this sentence provide an accurate locating fthis form. Where is this form? I would love to use it as my starting point to creating my KSA template!

From my experience, even though they talk about no pre-selection, there is. Most often, and I have two friends currently going through this, the person with the best qualifications does not get picked. I think the KSA is the problem. If they miss a punctuation and the non disabled, non veteran crosses all the t's and dot's the I's they are picked. The system need fixing...

I second that montion. When I retired from the USAF last year I spent a better part of my time generating my KSA's. Heck I even paid someone to write my KSA's. No luck. I finally had a former USAF HR person write my KSA's. Many resumes forward and I was finally able to land an entry level job with the DOJ. Just waiting for my clearance to go final before I start my job.
