15 Dumbest Ways to Lose Your Job

Zac Frank and Tania Khadder

2. Would You Like Boogers with That?

Our next contenders are competing in two categories: stupidity and depravity. Dominos workers Michael Setzer and Kristy Hammonds filmed their gross-out kitchen antics, like sneezing on sandwiches or cleaning a pizza pan with a sponge one of them used to wipe his bare bottom just moments before.

They posted their video on YouTube, and it quickly became an internet sensation. Both employees were fired and now face criminal charges for tampering with food.

Reporting someone for making racial comments. About eight of us in the room and this guy says, "He was working harder than you could pay a white guy to..." This wasn't the first racial comment he had made. My GGGrandmother was the color of a stop sign but I have blue eyes only a slightly reddish tint to my skin ... so I look real white but I was offended. Had heard the company had this great policy so i went and talked to someone. Next thing I know I am layed off with ten weeks severance as long as I "sign right here". Big company too. You use their products at least once a week.

The weather man has turets syndrome, and that's why he blurted out the profanity.....maybe the boss should have been informed of that before letting him on the air.

I do not understand why these folk would do these stupid things! If they were not happy in their jobs why did they not attempt do try and re-educate or get retrained on other occupations so they could compete for better-paying jobs! There is no excuse for the behaviors here!

I agree on not disabling ur phone's GPS- try not cheating the system then you wont get caught!

And sharing your client info for laughs? Seriously- where is your professionalism? If we have privileged info we're paid to keep it that way and if the media wants it they cant pay you more than your income ...

I can see how there is a need to vent frustration- but the guy in the teleconference was just showing off for his colleagues. We should all learn not to vent to our peers, call somebody outside the office from a location that cannot be heard by your peers. Your friend today may be your frenemy tomorrow.

Overall a feel-good article for those of us who havent comitted these self-sabbotaging acts!!!

You recommended to disable the GPS tracker in your "work owned" cell phone. Since it's the property of your job, you can't legally disable the GPS or you risk ending up as an addition to this story for being dumb enough to listen to bad advice.
