Tribute to a Napoleonic War Soldier
Created over 4 years ago Description: This album is dedicated to my ancestor General Jean Henri Dombrowski. A hero of the Napoleonic Wars and Polish patriot. My Great Grandmother was one of his descendents and was named for Marie Antoinette. Her name was Antoinette Dombrowski. Within the Dombrowski family, genetic heritage runs strong. When compared standing next to my ancestor's painting the resemblance is striking. I should note that over the centuries my wife's family and mine have often been on opposite sides of conflicts. Her ancestors fought for the Brittish at Waterloo under Wellington. Category: Coworkers (Photos)
