Created over 4 years ago Description: Contained within this album is a depiction of one of my ancestor's service in the American Civil War. He served his nation with honor and integrity, was wounded twice in battle and then went on to survive the war and live until age 81. Despite his wounds he returned to the front when healed and continued to fight until the end of the war. He was treated in a variety of field hospitals near the front lines. He never waivered in his commitment to United States of America and only when he was unable to work did he put in for a disability pension.
